Green Sand - 3 [ I mistook them for another wader until I was corrected by Steve but they were a good distance] Marsh Harrier - 2 Yellow Wag - 2 Swallow - 3 Moorhen - 2 Sprawk - 1 Kestrel - 3 Goldfinch - 30 Lapwing - 25 Mixed flock of Tree & House Sparrows - c25 Three fields on the outskirts of Worlaby and one on the Carrs contained upwards of 2,000 gulls, very nervous ones.
No birds seen on Read's Island but it was high tide.
Winterton Floods:
Tufted Duck, Coot, Mallard, Greylag, Great-crested and Little Grebe, Yellow Wag and a few gulls, numbers down on usual tally.
Nisa Lake:
Tufted Duck - 7 Swallow - 2 House Martin - 1 Some bench seats have been erected around the lake.
