Reading through all messages submitted since the phalarope appeared it is clear that Mr. Harrison started off being more than helpful in allowing people to use his land. However, it is his land, on a busy farm and if he wishes to withdraw permission based on his own needs then clearly he should do so and we should all respect and understand his decision. Our pleasure does not outrank his business.
Those who arrogantly ignore his refusal to allow access damn the rest of us by their actions. I'm sure Mr. Harrison is aware that they represent the minority.

Well put Russ and Rick. Furthermore, as our Membership Secretary for many years, one would have thought that Mike Harrison deserves special respect and understanding from any LBC member who might think of trespassing on his land. The good chance that Mike could recognise any trespasser from AGM, etc. meetings should also act as a deterrent!!

Mike is an extremely tolerant man but he's obviously had enough! I decided many years ago that if I found a rare bird on private land I would not put its' whereabouts in the public domain for the self same reason. The minority spoil it for the majority.
