I found a Tripod today at Alkborough Flats in the hide nearest the Car Park.
I've handed it in to the site management.
Tel: 01724 721269.

Steve

PS. I've posted this here as it is an important find to somebody.
Move it elsewhere as and when.

So as to improve our LBC range of sub-sections, couldn't we remove the 'Lincs Bird Quiz' (Lincolnshire Bird Forum - last entry Fri 09 Oct, 2009) and replace it with an 'LBC Urgent Messages'.....which Admin could always vet as to whether a post is deemed 'urgent' or not.

That would satisfy the clear need for a meaningful website for messages such as Steve's and even eg. for Graham Catley's "Buzzards (and DEFRA)" post of 24 May 12......which also ended up on 'LBC Bird Reports.'

Admin could now happily move this thread to eg 'LBC Urgent Messages' (......or, more likely, to 'Lincs Bird Chat'.)

Rare Bird Alert have kindly put out a message for birders indicating that the tripod has been found
at Alkborough and the 'phone number to ring, if claiming it.
