While straining my eyes skywards in the garden today (Mon), looking for overflying Pink-footed Geese (my wife, Inga, tells me c.100 flew over yesterday at midday heading E), a Jay flew over SE - NW.

It's the first Jay I've seen in/from my garden in BBH since moving here from Spain in Feb 2002.

Just after counting some Pink-footed Geese flying overhead near Billinghay (Sleaford area) this afternoon (Fri), a Jay flew up from a nearby garden hedge.
