A seawatch in squalls of hail and sleet at the south end between 0815 and 1015. Moving north were 23 Gannets, Cormorant, 5 Wigeon, Eider, 19 Teal and 2 Long-tailed Ducks. To the south were 37 Gannets, 8 Cormorants, Shag, 450 Herring Gulls, 150 Great Black-backed Gulls, 153 Kittiwakes, 2 Sooty Shearwaters, 2 Manx Shearwaters, Great Skua, 2 Pomarine Skuas, 10 Eiders, 125 Common Scoters, 5 Teal, 7 Pintail and 3 Goldeneyes.

Best birds on the dunes were 2 Waxwings and 3 Ring Ouzels.
