The north-easterly winds last night have brought in some scandinavian migrants including 10 stonking Waxwings, 4 flew south with a flock of Starlings, then 3 singles flew south. However 3 of the birds are hanging around the plantation area, favouring the tops of the Sycamores near the yacht club. Also a few more Fieldfare and Redwings in. With a bit of searching you might be able to find a Pallas's Warbler, now being the prime time for this Asian migrant!!
