The first Glaucous Gull of the winter, a 1st W bird, was on the beach with Great Black-backed and Herring Gulls. It and the other gulls were merely loafing close to hauled out seals at TA425017. Other birds of interest between Stonebridge and Pye's Hall included 35 Snow Buntings, 6 Twite, 30 Rock Pi[pits, Corn Bunting, Hen Harrier, 235 Redshanks, 25 Turnstones, 420 Oystercatchers, 1,000 Knot, 250 Dunlin, 5 Little Egrets, Red-throated Diver, 122 Teal, 79 Shelducks and 470 Brent Geese.
