A fairly brief visit around Thorpe, Grebe and Coot Lakes produced the following notables:
Goldeneye - 12 (5m + 7f)
Snipe - 16
Tree Sparrow - 9
Redpoll - c.10 flew over calling
poss. Waxwing - 1 flew over towards the railway line but such a brief view and it did not call that small element of doubt crept in...(I hate it when that happens)
Quite a lot of a people out and about today so no doubt some other sightings to be added to these.
