Does anybody know where there is a flock of waxwings in Grimsby/Cleethorpes area that is anything like reliable and reasonably accessible?
I run a small group of retired (from work) birdwatchers through U3A and some have never seen waxwings!!
It would be great if we could catch up with a flock when we meet on Monday (14th).
The flock(s) in Healing seem to have moved on so any help would be gratefully received.

Thanks
Martin Francis

Thanks Terry but it is not entirely luck.

A few years ago a flock visited cotoneasters just down the road from here regularly for 4 or 5 days, and a couple of years ago there was a flock at Scartho Baths for several days. I successfully put several friends on to these.
I accept that you can't guarantee they will be there when you visit but I was just trying to find a way to increase the chances!!

Thanks again
Martin
