23 Waxwings feeding on Apples on the Notts/Lincs border in Long Bennington - very mobile flock in gardens east of Main Road (nea Sparrow Lane)...

8 Waxwings along Valley Lane, Long Bennington (west of the village) @ 1430 today, they were drinking from a puddle by the roadside and eating a few relictual berries on the turn-off to the little industrial estate 320m WNW of the Fen Lane junction (800m into the county).

Our relictual bush didn't fruit well this year - pleased they did well at Long Benington!!

Relictual bush an issue in Brazil too.

Checking Birdguides this am someone had seen these the day before in the same spot. Barry Johnson lives (still?) a couple of hundred metres away so presumably he found them?
