Hi,

I actually managed to spend some time outside today (a rare treat). It was rather quiet migrant wise compared to earlier in the week at Freiston, but I did see;

Marsh Harrier - 2 south
Buzzard - 1 south
Barn Owl - 2
Avocet - 22
Lapwing - 30
Snipe - 6
Whimbrel - 1
Jay - 9 south (in 'groups' of two and seven). This is the first time I've seen Jay at Freiston so there must have been a bit of passage going on.
Yellow wagtail - 5
Not many Tufted Ducks and I had a good look at the wetland and lagoon so it looks like the Lesser Scaup has moved on.
Red-breasted Merganser - a male on the lagoon, not looking especially happy.
Blackcap - 2
Willow Warbler - 1
Chiffchaff - 1
Whitethroat - 1
