Popped in on my way down to Lakenheath.

Unfortunately the black winged stilt had disappeared (just my luck!) but did have some lovely views of 2 black tern. Seen frequently from the 360 hide, but also seen from visitors centre.

Pity. I was hoping to see the Stilts this w/end.

Did you see many Golden Oriole at Lakenheath?

I was really hoping to see them too! Never mind, can't win them all, and it was a beautiful day out anyway!

No Oriole at all. Somebody told me there were supposed to be 5 males (?), but apparently they haven't been singing lately. I guess you haven't got much hope unless you hear them, or catch a glimpse of one flying - I didn't really expect to pick one out just by scanning the trees!
