One swift near the osbournby roundabout (junction of A52 and A15) and another lone Swift feeding low over my garden from 7.30 - 7.45pm.

Two more Swifts over my garden in Rippingale yesterday evening along with 56 House Martins and 8 Swallows which were also perching on the telephone wire in the street. Chaos ensued when a large female Sparrowhawk got amongst them but was chased off by the braver Swallows without making a kill.

All the best

Ian
