Migrants at the south end of Donna Nook this morning included 15 Song Thrushes, Mistle Thrush, Redwing, Ring Ouzel, 10 Robins, Reed Warbler, Blackcap, Common Whitethroat, Lesser Whitethroat, 4 Chiffchaffs, Firecrest, 2 Goldcrests and a Wheatear. A dead Willow Warbler was found. There was some visible migration mainly to the south, most notable being 10 Swallows, 10 Siskins, 78 Pinkfeet, a Merlin and a party of 6 wheeling Common Buzzards.
I was unable to find the American Golden Plover, although some parties of Golden Plovers flew inland before I had the chance to examine them.
