Many migrants had moved on from the south end, nonetheless there were a few new arrivals and still some interesting birds present. Yesterday's northern Treecreeper was retrapped and this was the first example of this distinctive race that I have seen. Also recorded were 2 Great Grey Shrikes, one of which flew west inland, Firecrest, 120 Goldcrests, 60 Chiffchaffs, Pallas's Warbler, Reed Warbler, 10 Blackcaps, 130 Robins, 2 Stonechats, a late Spotted Flycatcher, Common Redstart, 2 Ring Ouzels, 2 Grey Wagtails, Swallow, 2 Woodcocks and 2 Great Spotted Woodpeckers.
At the Pye's Hall end there were 2-3 Firecrests, 3 Great Grey Shrikes, 2 Ring Ouzels and a Long-tailed Skua which flew south overland from Pye's Hall.
