More information from Garry...

Hoopoe was initially seen at c16.30hrs probing while driving inland along Sea Lane on mown section of roadside verge directly in front of farmhouse. It then flew just to west in grass paddock next to farm buildings before flying back east into farm yard itself. We parked up on verge and walked back then watched the bird for about 3 mins (down to 25 metres) moving around farmyard and probing. It then flew low out of sight behind a barn to rear of farm yard but looked like it was not going far and was about to land again.

The big question is... could this the same bird as reported at South View Holiday Park near Skegness on 1st October 2013? It less than 10 miles north of the original sighting....
