Walking up Lincoln's High Street this morning, I was stopped by a fellow just as I was about to go through the arch of the Stonebow. "Look at that", he said as he bent down to pick up something off the pavement.
It was a goldcrest that looked as though it had hit the stone-work and stunned itself. Hopefully it recovered ok but that is the most unusual place I have ever seen one of those
