A snow bunting was seen by a neighbour by a minor road between Garthorpe village and the R Trent on Friday 8th November and I glimpsed it on the 9th, then it relocated 1 km today (10th) to a track and near a straw stack, where it was feeding on spilled grain and very easy to see at about 0930.
The track is clearly to the liking of snow buntings: there were others in the same spot on 2nd-23rd October 2003 and 21st November 2004.
