3 species of Butterfly and all in the garden. A maximum of 64.2F in Fishtoft yesterday (Sunday). What a superb day!
S Tortoiseshell 4
Peacock 1
Brimstone 1
The birds in the garden were very active all day particularly the Goldfinches who had many crazy moments and even a brief visit by a male Sparrowhawk seemed not to register. I assume that its either seasonal testosterone or they have become high on the Niger seeds which they consume with considerable excitement.
