It currently stands at 206 Roy. Of course it includes all fly-bys and fly-overs and certainly helps by being so big and not so far from the dunes. It has taken over forty years to accrue such a total. Highlights which I have recorded on only single occasions include Shag, Bittern, Cattle Egret, White Stork, Smew, Honey Buzzard, White-tailed Eagle, Red-footed Falcon, Dotterel (party of 11), Long-tailed Skua, Hoopoe, Bee-eater (party of 5), Shore Lark (party of 3), Wood Warbler, Red-breasted Flycatcher and Nutcracker. Other unusual species with at least two records are Montagu's Harrier, Rough-legged Buzzard, Osprey, Quail, Common Crane, Mediterranean Gull, Glaucous Gull, Wryneck, Richard's Pipit, Icterine Warbler, Barred Warbler, Pallas's Warbler, Yellow-browed Warbler, Firecrest, Golden Oriole, Red-backed Shrike, Great Grey Shrike and Hawfinch.
