Migrants between Stonebridge and Pye's Hall included12 Willow Warblers, 6 Chiffchaffs, (including 3 abietinus-type birds) 4 Blackcaps, Garden Warbler, Lesser Whitethroat, Goldcrest, 20 Common Redstarts, 4 Pied Flycatchers, 9 Spotted Flycatchers, Red-breasted Flycatcher, 5 Tree Pipits, 8 Whinchats, Stonechat, 4 Wheatears, 2 Bramblings, Common Rosefinch, 7 Siskins and 4 Redwings. Also seen were 2 Little Stints, Avocet, Spotted Redshank and an Osprey.

At the south end there were 2 Chiffchaffs, Willow Warbler, 3 Garden Warblers, 2 Blackcaps, 5 Lesser Whitethroats, 5 Common Whitethroats, 2 Goldcrests, 3 Common Redstarts, 2 Pied Flycatchers, Spotted Flycatcher, 3 Tree Pipits, 12 Whinchats, 3 Wheatears, 18 Siskins and a Fieldfare. Other birds included 4 Sparrowhawks, Little Stint, Common Sandpiper and Greenshank.

Last winter, our garden had its first Redwing visitor - hoping for another, and will try to get Fieldfare (one of my favourite birds) in too....
