Hi,
Visiting my Auntie/Uncle in Spilsby today, they said there was an unusual chaffinch, perhaps a brambling at their garden feeder earlier.
After a short while, sure enough a moulting male brambling appeared to join the masses of other birds, totals for only 45 mins were:
Brambling - moulting male
Chaffinch - min 10
Goldfinch - 2
House Sparrow - 4
Dunnock - 7
Wren - 1
Robin - 2
Blackbird - 5
Collared dove - 3
Woodpigeon - 2
Magpie - 1
Starling - 2
Blue tit - 4
Great tit - 2
Goldcrest - 1
