This evening at Horseshoe Point:

Osprey sat out on the mudflats, initially seen eating a fish at c18.30 and remaining in the same spot to 20.10 at least.
The bird was seen to be bearing a green darvic ring on its left leg and early indications point to a Scottish origin.

Also seen:
1 Marsh Harrier
1 Peregrine
1 Short-eared Owl
1 Barn Owl
1 Whimbrel
1 Common Sandpiper
350 Oystercatcher
2 Yellow Wagtail

Regards

Chris (with Josh Forrester, Tony Housman, Ian Shepherd & Dave Wright)
