My first visit to Huttoft Pitt in over 2 years!
From 17:00-20:00hrs recorded the following.....
Red-crested Pochard (eclipse drake)
Mallard 164
Gadwall 14(6 juveniles)
Moorhen 3(2 juveniles)
Coot 5(2 juveniles and a very small chick)
Stock Dove 2
Common Buzzard 1
Marsh Harrier 2(adult male and juvenile)
Swift 15 south
Swallow 40
House Martin 15
Yellow Wagtail 3(1 juvenile)
Skylark 3
Wood Pigeon 40
Black-tailed Godwit 26(in from the north and attempted to land)
Common Sandpiper 1
Grey Heron 2
Tufted Duck 3
Goldfinch 5
Curlew 1
Linnet 4
Kestrel 2
Reed Warbler 3 singing
Magpie 2
Reed Bunting 2 singing in the reedbed
