The Lincolnshire Bird Club

Wasted a morning looking for drift migrant passerines between Chapel and Anderby.
However, an hour seawatching from the Anderby Hide was reasonable:
Pom Skua - a pale phase adult with spoons flew south followed closely by a juv.
Arctic Skua - 17 south
Fulmar - 1 south
Steady passage of Gannets, Sandwich and Comic Terns south
Also a few small flocks of Common Scoter
Nice to get back home to garden where singing Willow Wbl and several cheeping Chiffchaffs plus 4 Blackcaps!!

I covered much the same area this morning but didn't systematically sea watch.

Pied Flycatcher -1
Wheatear -1
Willow warbler - 4
Grasshopper warbler - 1
Teal -42
Peregrine -1
Bearded Tit - 4 juvs

Derick how right you are. I was really using 'bird speak' for not finding a rarity. I always enjoy the coast.
There was a Wheatear at Wolla Bank car park James. Where were the Bearded Tits?
However, with a belt of rain moving across into this Easterly tomorrow afternoon things may just be different tomorrow evening and Saturday morning until the gales arrive.

Know how you felt Edmund after two days of walking & pishing around Saltfleet. Any idea what's bird speak for failure?

That's the Wheatear I saw. Bearded Tits were near the car park too (as was the Pied Flycatcher)
