Following an away-day across the Humber at Easington and Welwick Saltmarsh, the Pallid Harrier returned to Lincolnshire this morning. It had been seen at Welwick at 0930, but by 1100 it was crossing the realignment area at Donna Nook and passed by us over the lock-gates at Pye's Hall and continued northwards over Grainthorpe marsh to Horseshoe Point where we lost it a few minutes later. A Peregrine and 2 Merlins were also seen.
Seen with David Suter from Nottinghamshire.
