Rough area of ground at rear of St.Hugh's Hosp. Peaks Lane Grimsby
7.0-8.0 a.m 3 whitethroats singing from the tops of bramble patches, also 1 yellow hammer, 4 linnets,3 song thrush, 1 kestrel, 1 reed bunting, singing willow warbler and chiffchaff, plus usual common birds.
Humberston yacht club and Fitties . 8.15-11.0
2 spotted redshank, main pool , goldcrest in pine trees, 1 cormorant, 1 common redshank, 1 yellow wagtail , 1 swallow and 200+ oystercatchers on the shore-line , 2 little egrets, pr. grey lags, 4 skylarks, 2 great tit, 2 dunnocks, 1 greenfinch, a chaffinch, 4+ goldfinches and 6 herring gulls. several pairs of mallard.
