A recently stripped turf field on Hougham Road (between Hougham & Westborough) had 7 Ringed Plovers, a Dunlin, 3 Oystercatchers and 3 Yellow-legged Gulls today pics:
http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist/S38747771 we found the spot on Thursday but half the field was ploughed by today so likely this will be a very temporary phenomenon. That said it just goes to show that if you create habitat in the Witham corridor the birds will come....
