Reported on Twitter : Pallid Harrier seen from Butterwick sea wall car-park on the Wash by John Badley (c.13.45), then turned back north ahead of an impending shower.

"Pallid Harrier seen from Butterwick sea wall car-park on the Wash by John Badley (c.13.45)" generated an 'OOH' of anticipation.

"then turned back north ahead of an impending shower" generated a Facepalm.

Still going to remain on alert.

No sign of Pallid Harrier in 8 hours spent at Gib wash viewpoint today. Highlights 2 Hen Harriers, Peregrine, Merlin, 7 Eiders & male Black Redstart.
With Rick Bennett & Ben Ward.
