A large southerly movement of terns recorded by Darren Matthews and Richard Doan this evening including three roseate and one black. Also bonxie and 20,000 waders. Unable to get out again for an evening watch, I was a little miffed at missing out on the action....but all was forgotten after a call from my mate in Ireland on his way back from Bridges of Ross....Wilson's petrel, Little shearwater, Cory's. 10 adult long-tailed skuas, 10 poms, 10 sabs gulls etc etc - I was at his wedding last week in Limerick and managed a handful of storm petrels off Brandon Head!

Yours depressed !

Kev
