Missed the Crake again

1 Curlew Sandpiper
8 Dunlin
5 Ruff

See the crake was reported at 1420 today. Anyone any details?

I was there at that time but didn't hear anybody report it - though I must admit that the east hide looked to have plenty in it

Arriving at 3:00pm today, missed the Crake again.

It was seen by Graham Hardy & Derek Pell very briefly at 14:20pm

From what i've heard today, there are possibly two Spotted Crakes present. I don't know who the observers were, but apparently they described the birds well. This was from the East Hide sometime this afternoon.

This morning, i had:

Wood sand - 1
Little stint - 2
Spotted Redshank - 1

I've not really looked for the crake since seeing it initially (6 hours in the East Hide is not that appealing!), but there is enough habitat to hide a few things out there...

Thanks for the replies. May give it a go tomorrow. Only spent about 5 hours looking so far.
