We found a colour ringed Twite feeding on dandelions on the east side of Covenham reservoir this morning. It had a wide pink ring with narrow blue and then yellow above on it's left leg and a BTO metal ring on it's right leg. I will post further details when I get them back.

I have had a reply on the above colour ringed Twite giving the following info:-

So you will see that the pink on the left says it was ringed at Light Hazzles- White Holme reservoir site - grid reference - SD9619

The pale blue/yellow striped ring above the pink indicates it was ringed in the post breeding period from July - December 2007.
