Information from Lyndon Lomax I visited Donna Nook on Sunday (25th October) for the Seals. Very pleased to see flying over the sand banks 5xBewick Swans and 1xSpoonbill. I am Chairman of the Pembrokeshire Bird Group and to visit your area was a real privalage and see what for us are really great birds. |

Great to see Pembs Bird Group reporting here as I report to them when back in Pembs. Pembrokeshire Bird Group members, espically Adrian and Richard often welcome my presence when returning home to bird and without local knowledge in each others areas, the birding would be far less successfull! The close links for nearly the furthest apart counties show the common interest in such different habitats - great relationship brewing - may a LBC trip to Pembrokeshire might be on the cards in the future. Chough, Shearwaters, Puffins galore! Blog is here: http://www.pembsbirds.blogspot.com/ Cheers |

With tongue very much in cheek this rather cosy "entente cordiale" certainly won'y extend to the imminent 6 nations Rugby Championship!! I expect this thread to be relegated to the "Chat" section as quickly as Wales find themselves in a similar position. I await the flak (or praise!). |
