Walked around Grebe and Teal Lake and found:-

c12 Chiffchaff, 1 Blackcap, 10 Sand Martin, 2 Swallows, 4 Oycs, and 3 Goldeneye.

Also found a nice male Goldeneye on Thorpe Lake and a single LRP on the island in front of the cafe.

Cheers,

David Cohen.

But not as busy as I was expecting! Crowds didnt arrive until after 11.00am.

My haul for today all west of the A46 (I'll have a look east of the by-pass tomorrow) was:-

2 LRP
3 Blackcap
6 Willow Warbler
8 Swallow
6 Sand Martin
1 Willow Tit - singing
2 Lesser Redpoll

Didnt count Chiffchaff but 30+ would seem like a reasonable estimate.

Regards

Grahame
