Species Information: Great Northern Diver

Location Information: Covenham Reservoir

Bird Information: Today Saturday 3rd April 2010 11-12.30 at least - very mobile covering most of the reservoir area and frequently diving, however gave excellent scope views at times - an adult still in winter plumage.

Also 1 Yellow Wagtail, 1 Sand Martin and 6 Swallows of note.

Yesterday around Apex Pit, Lincoln:
130 Sand Martins, 17 Swallows, 2 Willow Warblers.
Whisby Pits - Little Ringed Plover

Location: Saltfleet and Tipton, West Mids.
The diver was still here this afternoon showing well in the SW corner also there were 5 Yellow Wagtail, a dozen Swallows and a probable drake R-c Pochard distant in the choppy water.
