Two Spoonbills present on Jacksons ( from 15:37 for Freddy Johnson ). One of the birds was the colour ringed bird yelow/red/green metal/yellow flag/pale green which left Gib 'sometime'!! last friday. Also present - Black t Godwits, Greensands, Greenshank, Little Ringed Plover. Turtle Doves continue to sing and are easily seen along the east dunes especially near Mill Pond. |

Russell - it's the first pond on the left after the Beach Car Park. If you look north, from the main path at the top of the steps which go down to the pond, you will see some dead Hawthorns whose bare branches provide a song perch for a Turtle Dove on and off throughout the day. If Derrick's around he'll show you. Otherwise there are usually others singing along the East Dunes - just follow the East Dunes track. Edmund |

Edmund, My Spoonbills post of 18 June made it quite clear that I was interested in the departure times of Spoonbills from Gib.Pt. You needn't have gone out of your way to provide arrival times, too, but thanks all the same, I'm sure.  Regards, Freddy |

group of three still present this morning til 0800 at least. Also, over last couple of days, common sand, 2 green sand, 14 black-tailed godwit, 3 snipe, hobby and grey wagtail - the latter, an unusual June record for us. Cheers Kev |

As in earlier report today, 3 spoonbills on Tennyson including ringed bird from 6.30am until breakfast called at 8.30am. They had moved after our return but found them on Jacksons later. Quite content to roost with occasional preen so maybe been feeding early morning or even during night. Still roosting at 2.00pm. Jim & Carol |

3 spoonbills on Jackson marsh but 4 had been seen earlier on Tennysons 4 little egret 1 splendid male ruff 1 green sandpiper 1 black tailed godwit 3 wigeon c50 house martin |
