An early evening visit on 29/07/10 Nunn's Bridge/Outfall GC Grebe 3 with 2 young Mallard 44 Arctic Tern 1 Yellow Hammer 1 Turtle Dove 2 continuous deep crooning/purring but at separate locations. I have suspected breeding may have taken place at this location but I have no firm evidence having been "out of action" for several months. Swallow 96 in the immediate vicinity of the pumping station. Outfall/river Witham Common Tern 13 Little Egret 2 Common Sandpiper 2 |
