Question: How many visits to Marston STW until I see the Bearded Tits......looks like it might easily be into double figures....

24th Nov

Marston STW - 29 species in 2 hours, including

Teal 92
Canada Goose 9
Wigeon 12M 15F
Fieldfare c200
Tree Sparrow c20
Pied Wagtail c60

Leadenham Dump (Gull numbers really building up at this site, unfortunatley it's really difficult to get a good place to view...)

BH c650 (one really pink one...shown in pic below, but looked pinker in the field....honest! )
HG c520
GB c170
LB c300
CM c50

NOTE: All the above and the additional common species seen have ALL be added to the roving records for the BTO atalas - http://www.bto.org.uk/birdatlas/index.htm - it took less than 10 minutes, and made me feel really good!
