100's of lapwings on move over garden during morning, mainly west and north. A few common snipe noted following them.

Only a few lapwings today but had redshank over garden calling.

Both snipe and redshank new for my garden list (now on 85).

Weather movement over Baumber this morning with 9 Curlew flying west, not a very common sight in these parts.

This afternoon 3 seperate Snipe flushed from roadside ditches near West Ashby.

woodcock(1), snipe(4), curlew(3), lapwing(lots) and redshank(4) all moving over sloothby today.
also single grey heron, little egret and kingfisher searching for areas of unfrozen water.
plus single bullfinch and little owl.

Six Oystercatchers west over Market Rasen at 10a.m. today.
