Post subject:  WAGTAILS HOLBEACH TESCO

This is my first post so hi to all..
Went shopping with wife to tesco holbeach something rare for me to do, esp 4pm on weekday, but to the point as well as starlings coming into roost.ther must have been 60-100 wagtail circling before roosting on tesco roof. First time i have seen anything like this with wagtails.

Hi Colin,

Your post reminds me of a previous life (the 90's) in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, when there was an annual, winter roosting flock of 150+ Pied Wagtails in two town centre trees. You can imagine the 'goodnight' din and the resulting guano.

There's a small Pied Wagtail roost on the roof of Marks & Spencer in Boston...
