A colleague, Dave Pykett, who is not a member of LBC, has sent me photos of 2 spotted flycatcher fledglings that were taken at Nettleton, near Caistor, in July. Apparently, there were originally 3 fledglings from the nest.

Thanks for the information Martin. It's good to know that Spotted Flycatchers are still breeding in Nettleton. A few years back a lady that lives in Clixby, near Caistor, had two Spotted Flycatchers fly into a house window. One of them had been ringed as a nestling at Nettleton the previous year.
