Whilst walking a butterfly transect 1350 t0 1510 hrs,
2 sparrowhawk and a hobby soaring over in the warm sunshine and i flushed a wryneck at close range into a hawthorn bush showing its barred tail and wings and dark back stripe well before quickly disappearing into the dense foliage.
