Post subject:  Horseshoe Point to Northcoates Point - 2nd Sept. 2011
Early morning visit to do a wader count for RSPB.
High tide: 0910hrs. Wind: Light N/Easterly. Temp: 15deg.C on arrival at 0700.

All but c100 hundred Oystercatcher, 8 Sanderling and 4 Curlew flew North before or at high tide.

c2000 Oystercatcher
4 Curlew Sandpiper
30 ringed plover
150 Sanderling
23 Redshank
2 Whimbrel
15 Curlew
15 Dunlin
43 Knot
8 Little Egret
1 Arctic Skua South.

Also 5 Redshank on MOD pools.
5 Northern Wheatear around H.P. car park.
c2.500 Golden plover on Northcotes airfield and adjacent field to south.
