Pectoral Sandpiper dropped in on the Mere at Gib at 4pm this aft. Showed for 10 mins then was lost to view when it disappeared behind the "island" opposite the hide. Also 5 Greenshank, 164 Blackwit and single Curlew Sand. Regards Nige |

Pec still showing really well on the Mere this evening (19:00) in the company of a Dunlin. Other birds today: Barred Warbler 1 (Trapped and Ringed Bird Observatory) Osprey 1 (Per Kev Wilson) Black Tern 1 (Single bird on Greenshank creek this evening) Spoonbill 9 (Jacksons) Little Stint 1 (Tennysons, Per Darren Matthews) Meadow Pipit 5500+ (South) Siskin 100 (South) Tree Pipit 3 (South) Grey Wagtail 1 (South) (K.Wilson) Arctic Skua 6 Cheers, Richard |
