I dropped into the local Sewage Treatment Works again .......No ! I think I'd better rephrase that....I visited them :wink: today (Sun) 10.15 - 11.15....further to my first visit a week ago.
Birds seen on the N side included :

Green Sandpiper - perched on the side of a concrete tank, it was harassed by a Pied Wagtail;
- it took flight, circled high and then returned to almost the same spot
Grey Wagtail - 2 adults
Willowchiff - one feeding around the bushes
Buzzard - flew low over the STW (N side), harassed by half a dozen Corvids; crossed the road and immediately another 80 or so took to the sky from that S section of the STW, with at least half of them joining up and pursuing the unfortunate Buzzard ...quite a stunning sight
House Martin - a large flock of c.70 circled high overhead before drifting S
Swallow - occasional bird flew over.
plus
Mallard c.20.....Moorhen....Goldfinch.....and Song Thrush (not so common now around Lincoln).

All in all, a worthwhile visit. :D
