Total contrast from yesterday
So today roughly in order of appearance:
2 Goldcrest with Blue, Great, Coal and Willow Tits
3 Siskin in with 12+ Goldfinches
3 Bullfinch (1M 2F)
8 Eurasian WF Geese (Has been up to 15 (Maybe 17) seen, and looked to be about that number later on the back field just off the reserve, trees in the way to a degree)
1 Pink Footed Goose with dozens of Greylag
2 Tundra Bean Geese didn't mix with the rest and left on their own (Seen in very good light, no mistake)
Bittern still here seen briefly by Canadian Mike
7 Curlew
Little Egret (No knee rings, didn't see ankles clear enough)
Juv Grey Heron
3 Sparrowhawk
2 Kestrel
Common Buzzard seen thoughtout the day 5 together at one point
Peregrine seen from the Duck Hide gave great views hunting over the path to the Waders Hide, such speed.
Also Shoveller, Mallard, Gadwall, Tufted, Teal, Wigeon.
Varying numbers of Lapwings
100's (600-700+??) of corvids seen over Twigmoor around 15:00 seem to drop in there
Good numbers of Song Trushes and Blackbirds throughout the day they were flitting all over the place

Cheers for now - Steve with Candian Mike
