All records of roosting hen harriers are very valued Russel are you sending them in ?
there is a form with observation details available and a monthly roost watch date.

Well done , there is an appeal for as much information for roosting Hen Harriers as possible this winter,to give a more accurate record of the species, nothing roosting on the foreshore at Saltfleetby as the area they normally use is waterlogged after the surge tide. regards John.

The ring tail also showed herself Hugh
There were in the region of 90 swans in the field. At least 4 were bewicks (including the one with a ring on its neck
1 barn owl
several kestrels
3 siskin

I saw also saw the sad sight of a mute swan hitting the overhead cables near to the pit as it left its grazing just as it was getting dark. Each year we seem to see several swans killed in this way at this site

Yes Chris heard the ringtail was seen. Saw her myself last night which was good as I'd last seen one (possibly the same bird) a month or so ago and not again until last night.
Also four kestrels but none last night.
