Two Caspian Gulls showing well at Whisby NP this afternoon, both on Teal Lake, found by King Caspo (aka Dean Nicholson). A third winter and an adult winter.

These two birds represent the 12th and 13th records for Whisby NP/North Hykeham Pits just for this year alone!

Cheers

Grahame

Hi Grahame

Not sure if Dean will have passed on the message but had a 1st winter Caspian Gull on the 13th Nov on the old factory site ( next to the tip ) so you could add this to your totals.

Also a 3rd y Yellow legged Gull on the same date

David

Hi David,

Dean Nicholson has submitted a description of the Caspian Gull for the Rarities Committee. Along with Grahame, he saw it at the same place the following day.

Regards,
Roy
