Found the male smew today on Pursuit Pit (the Pit near the new visitor centre) that had been reported a few days ago. also today bittern fight in front of ness hide, 53 pink footed geese passed over head after crossing the River Humber, a grey plover on chowder good variety of duck species in their finest plumage, I would like to take this opportunity to wish all the LBC website users a very merry Christmas from myself, the Far Ings Bird Group and from The far Ings NNR too. I hope you can enjoy a visit to this part of the County sometime this coming year. |
