22/1/12 Large flock of brents on tennysons today with one black brant among them. |

I couldn't find one today (Monday) although Kev thought he may have spotted it. Other highlights included Hen Harrier (male) Short Eared Owl Sparrowhawk Peregrine Pintail 2 males 1 female Red Throated Diver Great Crested Grebe 4 on the sea |

The bird in question looked very good for a black brant in all respects but the collar probably did not meet in the middle. This bird was also seen on 12 Jan when two definite adult black brants were with the flock. It is also likely to be the bird first seen on 8th Jan and reported as a black brant.
